It's been a long time!

We have been really busy. School ended the end of May. Ever since we have stuff going on. Ryan and Makayla got to do free swim lessons at the YMCA the first week of June. We also went to a twins game to celebrate Ryan's 9th birthday. We had a really good time with two of his little friends.

Then Ryan went to church camp in Chetek, Wis. He had a lot of fun this year because his cousin Luke got to go with him. Ryan hopes that his cousin will do it again next year. I picked them up from camp and then we went to my sister Lani's house for a week. Ryan got to go to basketball at St. Charles high school. We hope he learned something from it all. Then Lani and family drove home with us to stay at a cabin on Webb Lake. Ryan was thrilled that he got to spend so much time with one of his favorite cousins(Luke).

After the fourth I helped with a volleyball camp at Brainerd High School. I will be coaching the Varsity 2 team. I am really enjoying the experience. I love volleyball and love to share my love for the game.

During those few days I brought my kids over for two hours of the camp and Ryan managed to get hurt. He had to 7 stitches put in his leg. He thought they were pretty cool and is a little disappointed about getting them out today.

Well we are slowing down a bit at home, but Greg seems to be busier then ever. Summers can be a little hard at times. I sometimes miss him even though he comes home every night. We hardly get much time just us. Looking forward to our trip to Vegas.

Enough pouting I know. God Bless you all or whoever actually checks this out.
Love Ya.

A great Easter!

What a great time to remember what the Lord has done for us. We started with a pre-easter service on Wed. the 19th and I was asked to sing. I sang Ray Boltz's song Watch the Lamb. I love the picture that it gives you in your mind.

We then had a son-rise service at 8:00 am on Sunday followed by a great breakfast. The morning service the choir put on a contada(misspelled I think). It was really well done.

I have put in a picture of the kids in their new easter clothes. Leslie was actually running a fever in the morning yesterday so was not very happy to take a picture. Plus our kids are like mom and dad. They are night owls not early risers. Try to keep that in mind when calling our house. HA

Anyway even with snow on the ground we had a good Easter and I hope you all did too.

Check out my Slide Show!

The new blog

My sister did it and now I am going to try it. Nothing really happens with us, but we will let friends and family maybe get a chance to see pics.

Greg is almost done with his courses to become an A-1 head golf professional. I am still a stay at home mom. I really love being able to be home. Except that Leslie is now pretty attached to mom. Ryan is in 3rd. grade and is really a good little reader. His new interest is astronomy. Makayla is a Kindergarten and we just had her 6th birthday party. We had fun going to the Three Bear Lodge up here. Leslie is 3 1/2 and loves Makaylas friends. We went over to do a project with Makayla and I could hardly get her to leave. I think she is ready to go to school even though she has a whole year in half before kindergarten.

Both Makayla and Ryan are playing basketball at the YMCA. They are both improving so much. Makayla scores in every game. I am coaching Ryan's team and they are pretty good, but it has nothing to do with my coaching. I just lucked out and got a team of kids that know what they are doing. I think Ryan sometimes I wasn't coaching because now he can actually hear me when I yelling things at him. He does real well, but at times he is to much of a perfectionist and can't get past his mistakes.

Hope you enjoy keeping up with our family.
